mona festival 2

先日から文化人類学者のTさんがブカに滞在している。

金曜はY隊員とTさんとでハンバーグを食べた。その後、トクトク（雑談）をずーっとしてたら朝7時。久々に徹夜となった。

んで、土曜の昼ころ起きて、mona festivalを見に行った。

場所はこないだのボート乗り場と違って病院の裏あたりのグランドらしい。

家を出ると結構人が多い。

大体の場所を目指しながら、人に着いていくと、グランドに到着した。

垂れ幕見ると2nd mona festivalとあったので、去年始まったばかりのようだ。

Bougainvilleのいろんな地域のシンシン（踊りと歌）の大会みたいな感じだった。

こないだ行ったKokopoのような大きなかぶり物やペイントはなくて腰みのと小物もってみんなで歌い踊るみたいな感じだった。

 

一応、競い合っているようで、オレが見に行ったときは最後の方だったので、ちょうど、表彰式まで見た。

この女性のグループが優勝のようで、同時にミスコンも兼ねている様子で、写真の女性がミスモナとかそんなようなことを言っていたような気がする。

ミスの貴重なおっぱいである。

この人は終わったあとで、メディアの取材を受けてた。

ちなみにオレはしれーっと来賓用と思われる一段高い場所に入り込むことに成功したので、快適に見ることが出来た。

Y隊員によれば去年は11月に開催されたようで、今年も前日まで開催されるとは知らなかった。

Kokopoでもそうだったけど、こういういいイベントがあるのに宣伝が下手すぎ！

もったいない。

Mr.T ,an cultural anthropologist, have been in Buka these days.

We, T, Y and me had hanburger steak at Friday night.

After that we chatted all night. I went to bed at 7 morning.

I got up at noon and went to see the Mona Festival.

I’d heard from someone where the site was. It was somewhere ground behind the hospital.

I left my room and there were a lot of people outside.

I walked with following the people and arrived the ground.

Looking at the banner, there was “2nd Mona Festival’. I seemed that it started only last year.

It was a kind of contest for traditional song and dance.

The dances were different from these of Kokopo’s. They were simple. They wore straw skirt only and had something small articles.

 

It was competition. I arrived at end of the festival I could see the awarding ceremony.

 

The group of this women won. The miss contest seemed be held The woman was the Miss Mona or something maybe.

It was rare breast of Miss!

A media interviewed her after the ceremony.

 

By the way, I could see the festival on the stage for guests.

 

According to Y it was held in November last year.

We could  get the information the day before it started.

It was very good festival but not good advertisement same as Kokopo.

What a waste!
